Hostetler, John E., 79, Cairnbrook, died February 16, 2021 at home. Born March 4, 1941, the son of Ira D. and Mary Elizabeth (Landis) Hostetler. Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Scott Allen; grandson, Carl Allen James; brother, Harold; father-in-law, Harry Dwain Gahagen; and beloved dog, Cody. Survived by wife of 57 years, the former Carol Gahagen; and children, Debbie (Rich) James, James (Marlene), Sheri (Don) Goughnour, Karen (Joe) Sanzo, Douglas (Lisa); 17  grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Shumaker; mother-in-law, Pearl; and a number of nieces, nephews, and in-laws. To my big sister Carol, Debbie, Jim, Sheri, Karen, Doug and the entire family, we send you our deepest sympathy for the loss of John. He was truly one of a kind, he had the patience of Job, and his compassion was unlimited. I know how proud he was of each of you. We send prayers to each of you. We will miss you dear brother and will hold you in our hearts forever. Restful eternal peace John.
