Pasierb, George, S., 74, Central City, died November 9, 2020. Born April 29, 1946, the son of the late Stanley and Anna (Muha) Pasierb. Survived by wife of 50 years, the former Dolores Gumbita; daughters, Lisa (Arthur Jr.) McClucas and Lora (Robert) Gimble; son, Marc; grandchildren, Hana, Ian, and Isaac; brothers, Richard (Dianne) and Michael; also a number of nieces and nephews. George was a retired teacher and football coach in the Shade – Central City School District. A former PIAA official. A member of the St. John’s/Sacred Heart Holy Name Society and the Central City Borough Council. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (Sacred Heart), where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, Father Aron Maghsoudi. Committal, Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Masks and social distancing required. Arrangements by the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com
