Tremel, Margaret Z., 99, formerly of Central City, died January 3, 2019.  Born August 2, 1919, the daughter of Charles E. and Clara J. (Fleming) Zerby.  Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband, Robert E.; brother, Robert J.; and son-in-law, Andrew J. Medva.  Survived by daughter, Margaret Ann Medva; beloved grandchildren, Drew (Rebecca) Medva; Jaime (Gregg) Evans; and Kyle Medva; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Isabella and Cora Margaret Medva and Seth Evans; sister, Joetta McLaughlin; sister-in-law, Natalie Zerby; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Margaret was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Buckstown, where she taught Sunday School for many years and served multiple times as council president.  She was a member of WELCA, Order of the Eastern Star and Central City Senior Citizens.  Margaret was a graduate of Juniata College and spent her career teaching home economics and kindergarten in the Shade-Central City School District.  She loved church activities, sewing, reading, playing bridge, traveling and being with her family.  Her favorite place to visit on a yearly basis was Cook Forest, PA.  Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 12, from 10:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, The Rev.
