KUDASIK---Penny M., 57, Central City, passed away peacefully February 27, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Born January 26, 1958, in WIndber, daughter of Henry J. and Irene (Zwiazek) Skone. Preceded in death by parents and father-in-law, Joseph Kudasik. Survived by husband, Kevin and son, Keenan, Phoenix, AZ. Sister of Nancy (George) Higgins, Johnstown; Mark (Antoinette), Windber; Ken (Jane), Central City; and Guy (Nellie), Pottstown. Also survived by mother-in-law, Helen Kudasik, Central City; sister-in-law, Karen, Oregon; brothers-in-law, Ron (Jean), Chambersburg; Dave (Donna), Central City; numerous nieces and nephews and her faithful companions, Josie and Ziggy. Penny was the corporated secretary for Skones Advanced Inc. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore, Fr. Richard Tomkosky. Committal, St. John Cantius Cemetery, Windber. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Somerset County Humane Society or In Touch Hospice, Somerset, in memory of Penny. Sorry to hear about Penny. She always had a brilliant wit and a kind voice whenever I spoke to her as she was closing her shop up. My prayers are with her family especially the pups. God Bless C

I'm so sorry this has happened. Penny was always such fun to be around. I have so many memories of her growing up. Everything from Shade games to waterskiing and tubing at the lake. It's so sad and she will be missed terribly. Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
