DELASKO---John S. “Junda,” 76, Central City, died August 23, 2014. Born August 21, 1938, in Shade Township, son of Joseph and Helen (Jinna) Delasko. Preceded in death by parents; brothers and sisters, Frank, Steve, Joseph, Margaret, Eleanor, Mary, Pauline, Helen and Theresa; and grandson, Colin. Survived by wife of 48 years, the former Carol Yanosky; children, Annette (George) Zugrovich, Central City; Ronald (Shelly), Johnstown and John (Brittany) Central City; grandchildren, Katie and fiancé, Jamie Edwards, Steven, Jordan and Kendra. Brother of Tom (Julie), and Josephine Fetsko, both of Central City. Also survived by special friend, Mike Swank. John was a U.S. Army veteran and an avid hunter. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Robert F. Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel, Fr. Maurizio. Graveside military rites by the Central City VFW and American Legion posts. Committal, St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Central City.
